5 Movies to Keep You Warm and Cozy This Winter

Winter is coming” If these golden words of our Lord Commander Jon Snow keep ringing in your ears, then you are probably a GoT addict and you know the importance of winter. Well, winter has already arrived whether you like it or not. It’s that time of the year when you wish to curl up in your bed and wrap yourself in a warm and fuzzy blanket, drinking tea or coffee as you laze around. Let’s do things differently this time, shall we? Instead of whiling away time and introspecting your life choices, you could watch these five movies. These movies are meant to be watched during the winters and not doing so is a grave sin! Hence, we bring you five such movies to keep you warm and cozy this winter.

Happy Feet
This movie makes the winters in Antarctica look appealing. That is a feat in itself, geddit? If you love penguins, you will like this and if you love singing and dancing penguins, you’ll absolutely adore it.

Serendipity
If you a hopeless romantic then this one is for you.  No one will ever look as perfect while ice skating as John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale in Serendipity. Whether or not you have your partner curled up against you, this should be on top of your priority for now.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles
For days when you just can’t believe how cold it is, this Steve Martin and John Candy comedy is perfect. Unlike most winter films, which take place in the weeks leading up to Christmas when snow seems festive, Planes, Trains and Automobiles is all about getting home in time for Thanksgiving, despite severe weather. This one is like a roller-coaster ride.

The Holiday
This romantic comedy has Cameron Diaz trading her Los Angeles mansion for Kate Winslet’s charming England cottage so that each can take a December vacation from their various, standard rom-com problems. Both of them meet two guys, Jude Law for Diaz and surprisingly, Jack Black for Winslet, and love ensues. The Holiday is a perfect heartwarming winter movie for nights too cold to leave your couch.

Groundhog Day
What happens when a weatherman who is reluctantly sent to cover a story about a weather forecasting discovers that it's Groundhog Day again, and again, and again. Even if you dislike winter, this movie might just convince you otherwise.
