A typical wedding is normally planned months ahead. Right from booking the wedding hall to picking up the perfect trousseau, planning a wedding can be quite stressful. The quintessential Indian family sketches the grand affair with suggestions from both sides. But sometimes things do get a little out of hand. This results in the lack of pomp and splendor of what a nuptial ceremony requires. The ideal way to plan the perfect wedding is to take the help of a wedding planner. And the best in the business are Shruthi and Shakti.
brings you Aaha Kalyanam
and Vaani Kapoor
playing the roles of the wedding planners. YRF have ventured into south cinema by producing the Tamil/Telegu bilingual Aaha Kalyanam
. The movie , which is directed by debutant Gokul Krishna
, is all set to release on 21st Feb. We give you 5 reasons to watch this flick.
The name says it all. Yash Raj Films
, the pioneers of Hindi Cinema are producing this rom-com. YRF’s name is reminiscent of producing some of the biggest romantic blockbusters. Their films are known to brim with romance while laced with soulful music. They are one of the most successful production houses where romantic movies are concerned.
The lead actor Nani is probably the best choice for this role. He is an actor who has dazzled us on screen with his impeccable and quirky performance. He proved his versatility in films like Nanee and Veepam, in Tamil. It would be interesting to see him play the role of an indolent wedding planner.
3. Vaani Kapoor
This model turned actor got everyone to sit-up and take notice in Shud Desi Romance. Her captivating performance won her the Filmfare award for best Debut actor. Her infectious smile is sure to capture many hearts here as well.
4. The Chemistry
It would be enjoyable to see the fresh pairing of Nani and Vaani enter the ups and down of lavish Chennai weddings. Especially since the USP of the film is ”Finance-um, Romance-um onnu sera mudiyathu” (Finance and romance can never go hand in hand).
5. Pristine story
We have seen several wedding themed films where the conflict usually arises due to vehement opposition from parents and sadistic ex-lovers. But Aaha Kalyanam has a fresh approach to the wedding theme; it would be refreshing to see the story revolve around wedding planners who seek to anchor themselves in the business. This unconventional story has all the perfect mantras to make it a opulent affair.
So are you ready to watch this knotty affair on screen? It’s I do, Qubool hai ,Samadam and Pattiundai from our side.
