5 Reasons to Watch Naam Shabana

Naam Shabana has been promoted as Bollywood's first spin-off film. Although directed by Shivam Nair, the movie is still Neeraj Pandey's baby with him having written and produced it. A female oriented spy film starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead, Naam Shabana gives us some well-executed performances with an engaging story line. It has all the elements of a perfect Bollywood thriller; in this case, the heroine, the bad guy and an exciting, action-filled mission.

If you're still not convinced, we've listed down five reasons why you absolutely cannot miss Naam Shabana.

Taapsee Pannu’s action sequences

Who doesn't want to watch a Bollywood actress throwing some experienced punches and kicking some major ass? After all, we've not seen many female oriented spy films in Bollywood and Taapsee Pannu's performance is one that cannot be missed!

How it links back to Baby

A spin-off from 2015's hit film Baby, Naam Shabana is a film that brings to light events and characters before Baby took place. If you loved Neeraj Pandey's Baby, there is absolutely no reason for you to not watch Naam Shabana.

Another nerve-racking mission

While the first half of the film focuses on Shabana and her story, the second half will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Faced-paced and full of action, Pannu and Kumar struggle to complete the risky mission at hand.

The making of a spy

The concept of a spy-thriller is not new to any Bollywood fan. However, Naam Shabana focuses on an aspect that's not really been done before. From how they are selected to the gruesome training they receive, it shows us what goes into the making of a spy.

Naam Shabana makes for a perfect family entertainer and Taapsee Pannu and Akshay Kumar deliver a performance you cannot miss.
