5 Reasons Why We Cannot Wait For BCL – Punjab

There is almost nothing we haven’t seen celebrities do. They can act, dance, sing, don various get-ups, and even undergo reel-life plastic surgeries to magically transform into another celebrity – all to keep us entertained. Of late, some Punjabi celebrities are taking to cricket to entertain us – yes you heard it, cricket! Burrraahh! With five teams, namely – Jalandhariye Panthers, Ludhianvi Tigers, Ambersariye Hawks, Chandigarhiye Yankies and Royal Patialvi, Box Cricket League – Punjab is coming your way soon, really soon.

The man behind the league, Sumit Dutt, has been behind the camera for famous Bollywood songs like Dhinka Chika, Character Dheela, Party All Night, to name a few. Flagged off by Sunny paaji, this reality show has celebs like Ameesha Patel, Geeta Basra and Hard Kaur. It is but obvious that we cannot wait to see our favorite artists coming together to change the face of Punjabi entertainment.

Here’s why we’re looking forward to BCL Punjab :

1. Because it is unisex – yes, the league will bat for equality.

2. Simply because it is cricket. We are a cricket-loving nation, after all.

3. It has the perfect entertainment recipe – Celebrities + Cricket.

4. It has a reality show tadka to it. Yes, the celebrities will have microphones on them.

5. We get to watch over 150 celebrities, all in one show.

BCL Punjab will air on 9X Tashan from 28th May, 2016. We wish the teams and their players all the best!
