The much-awaited concert of Justin Bieber for his new album Purpose finally happened last night and fans from all over India came to Mumbai to watch him perform live. The concert was nothing less than a dream for all the Beliebers and despite the crazy heat, everyone enjoyed every bit of his 90-minute performance.
Coming in at about 8.15, Bieber started his concert with Where Are You and ended at about 10 pm with one of his most popular tracks, Sorry, covering everything from Baby to What Do You Mean and Coldwater in between. Yes, one can safely say that the concert was a hit. We're sure you already know that but amidst all of this were the minute details that you might have missed. So here, we thought of bringing to you grapevine about what happened at the concert.
Justin gave us a major hint of returning to India soon
From what was heard Bieber seemed to have had a great time and these were his words at the concert. “Tonight’s turning out to be one of the best nights of my life, It was a great honor performing in India. I will definitely come back”.
Some fans expected it to be better
While the concert lasted for almost two hours and Bieber sang almost all his popular numbers, the fans could get enough of him and they really expected more. Singer Armaan Malik showed disappointment in his tweets that the concert didn't last longer.
Bieber's lip-syncing highly disappointed many
The Canadian singer who performed for the first time in India let down many by not singing but actually lip syncing for a major duration of his performance. The guitar solo made up for it, though.
Sorry came in as a surprise performance
The concert shouldn't have ended without Sorry and it didn't. So Bieber may have said Namaste and exited the stage but he sure had no plans of disappointing his fans. He came back in no time and rocked the stage for the next few minutes with the Indian flag waving behind him.
B-town celebs also came in to catch a glimpse of the International Popstar
It wasn't just the teenagers but even our very own film stars like Alia Bhatt, Jaqueline Fernandes, Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora attended the concert. Joining them were celebrities like Arjun Rampal and Sonali Bendre who accompanied their Belieber kids.
