Fight Club : 140 characters only

Kamaal R Khan is making news these days for his ugly spat with Bombay Velvet director Anurag Kashyap on Twitter. This is not the first time that KRK has been involved with a fight with someone on Twitter. For that matter, Bollywood as a whole is not new when it comes to quarreling on the social networking website. From the likes of Karan Johar to Sunny Leone, so many of our stars have been bitten by the chirping blue bird. Here is a list of 6 of the most publicised Twitter fights that B- Town stars have been involved in.

1. Sonam Kapoor – Shobhaa De

Shobhaa De wrote on Twitter that Punit Malhotra ought to be "spanked in public" for making a film like I Hate Luv Storys. She further went on to add, "As for Sonam, the lassie lacks oomph, " and "Imran should keep his shirt on… if he doesn’t want the audience to lose theirs." Sonam, not one to mince her words, tweeted, "Guys, please don’t take Shobhaa De seriously. She’s a fossil who’s getting no action and going through menopause."

2. Anurag Kashyap – Arbaaz Khan

Not so long ago, Anurag Kashyap and Arbaaz Khan were also involved in a case of washing dirty linen in public. This happened when Abhinav Kashyap, Anurag’s brother was ruled out of Dabangg 2, the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Dabangg. An angry Anurag took to Twitter saying, “Salman Khan thinks he made my brother’s life, hope he does the same for Arbaaz when he does Dabangg 2." To which Arbaaz retorted saying, "Salman Khan has already made my life with Dabangg and I appreciate it. I don’t need Dabangg 2 for that. We gave Abhinav an opportunity. Why wasn’t Anurag backing his brother at that time? Where was he when his brother was doing rounds of the industry with his script for two years?"

3. Karan Johar – Ram Gopal Varma

It’s no news that Ramu and KJo share a love – hate relationship. They often keep taking digs at each other on Twitter. It all started when Varma remarked that the scariest film he had ever seen was Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. Fed up of Ramu’s constant nuisance, Johar angrily replied. “You have an amazing sense of humour Ramu (Varma)! Never shows up in your films though."

4. Kamaal R Khan – Sunny Leone

It all started when Kamaal R Khan tweeted saying, “I request to Digvijay Singh Ji to have a strip show of Sunny Leone in the function of his marriage and I will pay Rs 1 crore to the Congress party fund.”, to which Sunny allegedly filed a defamation law suit.

5. Amitabh Bachchan – Rajeev Masand

Renowned film critic Rajeev Masand called Akshay Kumar a "jackass" after his visit to ailing cartoonist R.K. Laxman. Masand posted on his Twitter page: "Need innovative ideas to promote films in competitive times. But Akshay Kumar grinning like a jackass at R.K. Laxman‘s hospital bed is a new low." Amitabh Bachchan opposed to this comment and replied, "Rajeev…your fraternity will never pull you up for calling Akshay a ‘jackass’. Ever thought if the reverse were to be done…would your fraternity have spared Akshay if he were to address you as one? Never expected this language from you." This might have just got Rajeev fired up. This was his reply: “Let’s consider – ‘if my fraternity won’t pull me up for that jackass comment, could it possibly be because they see some sense in my comment? Or could it be because that’s what fraternity does: Stands by each other? You should know, sir. "I don’t remember your fraternity pulling you up for the attack on photographers by security outside your house during Abhishek’s wedding. I don’t remember your fraternity so much as expressing outrage when Abhishek ‘allegedly’ bashed up a photographer on a film set. But your concern sir, is the use of the term ‘jackass’."

6. Ameesha Patel – Bipasha Basu

This one started when Ameesha and the bong bombshell Bipasha ended up wearing the same Ramona Narang dress at the iifa 2011 green carpet. Though the fight was later amicably resoved, for once it did create quite a stir on social media with both the actresses accusing each other of copying the outfit.
