"There are no shortcuts in life" they said. "There are fashion hacks, though" said no one ever. No one but us. Life is so much simpler when you can tweak a few things in your favor. So we believe that by hook or by crook, the end justifies the means. You can’t make an omelet without breaking some eggs. We men fall under this category. Men are simple beings, nothing fancy or elaborate, we just get our things done. So if you are one of us, then this article is just for you. If you are not, there’s no telling what you can adapt and make your own. Here we take a look at a few fashion hacks that you may find useful. So sit tight, take notes and thank us later.
Remove that stain
Your boss is throwing a huge party for you because you are the apple of his eye. You are all set to make a grand entrance but notice a murky spot on your favorite shirt. Do not freak out. Simply grab a lemon and some salt and rub it over the stained area. Leave it on for some time and vacuum it later.
Have a tailor
Having a tailor of your own is a sign of manhood. You would want to make a lasting impression and carry yourself well and for that, you need a tailor – period. A tailor can fix buttons and zippers, alter clothes to fit you better, hem pants, etc so you don’t have to worry about browsing through the array of stores to get the right fix for you. Find yourself that godsend artisan now.
Fold it right
Men look 10 times hotter when they fold their sleeves and rightly so, but you need to fold it right to make a lasting impression. This is how you do it:
Fix that zipper
Zippers maybe a fantastic feat of engineering but we know the struggle when that little zipper starts misbehaving. The solution is fairly simple – lubricate it with wax or graphite pencil and try again.
Straighten up that collar
The collar of your favorite shirt is all messed up and to add to your woes, your regular iron is out of commission. Don’t fret! borrow a hair straightener from your girlfriend or wife. It works like a charm.
Don’t wear it twice
Try not to slip into the same pair of shoes twice in two days. Let them rest and give them time for the perspiration to dry off. This will help them retain their shape as well.
