6 Movies That Helped Discover the Champion Within

All of us go through the unsure teen years. Some of us continue to stay puzzled in our 20s. There is a stage in everyone’s life when we start to get a tad serious about our future, which prompts us to act in a way that is not juvenile anymore. Bollywood has time and again traced this journey of confusion to certainty onscreen through stories that have inspired an entire generation. These films successfully showed the complexities of a young mind and the struggle that goes on inside every young heart.
Take a look at five such Bollywood flicks that will remind you of the sweet-sour days of your growing up years.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992)
One of Bollywood's best sports dramas depicted the life of a school going teenager perfectly. It had drama, romance, heartbreaks and peer rivalry. This film shows how Sanjaylal Sharma (Aamir Khan) goes through various challenges to rise as an ideal champion and make his school and family proud.

A passionate poet, who has a penchant for writing has a tough time with an overbearing father. Rohan (Rajat Barmecha) isn't your average ordinary teenager clueless about his life. On the contrary, he is quite clear in his head but is only held back by his father.

3 Idiots (2009)
This film might have gone a yard or two ahead preaching the need to not chase, but strive for excellence. Through continuous doses of humor and sharp dialogues, Rancho (Aamir Khan), Raju (Sharman Joshi) and Farhan (R. Madhavan) manage to convince us in the goodness of their characters and win our hearts; all while exposing the flaws in the conventional ways of looking at education in this country going through the very change in thinking that they preach.
