Fashion terms often tend to evolve over the years and it get difficult for us to keep a tab on the same. Being a fashion girl is hard-work. You have to keep yourself updated with all the terminology and styles to understand. But at the same time learning about new styling ideas and designers is what keeps the fashion wheel spinning. 2016 saw a wide range of new fashion terms that were added to our glossary and with this year coming to an end, we thought it would be nice to enlist some of these words that will easily swift through 2017. So go ahead and take notes.

Sock BootThis one hits you at mid-calf and features a pointy toe. You pull these and fold your jeans. These have often been noticed on Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin.
PufferA nylon puff coat that can be worn as a jacket to keep warm. It can be worn in a number of ways: belted, off the shoulder or just the regular way of zipping it all through the top.
FannyWhile these were a huge hit in the 90s among dads, they have made a major comeback this season. Girls are swinging these around the waist and rocking it.
TrainersWho even calls them “sneakers” anymore? If you want to complete your athleisure look to the T, the trainers are an essential part of your look.
Mom JeansJust like boyfriend jeans, mom jeans are loose, but they are less slouchy. Instead, they sit high on your waist and feature stand-out pockets.
SlidesSlip-ons or slides are what ladies are looking out for this season. We already have the fur slides on our wish-list for next year.
