There are some venues in Mumbai that reek of nostalgia. They have gathered a certain amount of reputation over the years and they continue to uphold it. One such venue is Prithvi Theatre. The Prithvi Theatre and Cafe are not unfamiliar to regular theatre goers. Every theatre group wishes to perform there, and the waiting period extends to months. July, the month where monsoon is at its peak, has people running indoors for entertainment, and Prithvi doesn't fail to impress with its line-up for the month. A lot of old plays are coming back, and new ones are being staged. If you haven't caught these plays the first time around, you shouldn't miss them this time.
