8 Physics-defying action sequences in Kollywood and Tollywood

 When you think action movies, you think Hollywood. And not just ordinary action films. We are talking supercharged stunts and fist-in-your-mouth action sequences. They are also responsible for creating films that have death-defying action sequences featuring flying cars, flying superheroes and heroes who climb the world’s tallest buildings! If you thought this was the best! Then you clearly haven’t been introduced to Tamil and Telugu films. With terrific actions sequences, these films also have heroes who climb buildings with ease and fly in the air! All this and much more only in our list of physics-defying action sequences that put Hollywood films to shame!

Tamil 
 
1. Vishal: The slay of gravity! (Aambala, 2015)
 
 
Lover of the Fast and Furious series? Well, clearly you haven’t seen this scene featuring actor Vishal‘s Aambala. After watching this, we’ve have observed the following: Vishal can dance in air, his sumo can fly as high, his sumo can also reach the moon. Of course with the addictive and annoying background score *Aambala Aambala*
 
2. Vijayakanth: The man of steel (Dharmapuri, 2006)
 
 
South India’s very own Man of Steel not only has a bullet proof body, but also a unique property. His strong insured body can reflect the bullet and aim it right back at his enemies! He is the hero India needs!
 
3. Illayathalapathy Vijay: The longest jump ever! (Kuruvi, 2008)
 
 
 
If you think only Spiderman can jump from buildings and land safe, then you haven’t seen Vijay‘s epic jump! This jump would threaten even the best of Olympic Gold medalists. Safe to say, that this was the last time Vijay tried these over-the-top stunts.
 
4. Thala Ajith: They see me rollin’, they hatin’ (Citizen, 2001)
 
 
 
You can somersault, but can you somersault in mid air in a dense forest, and escape firing from the police? Well, Thala Ajith certainly can! Considering his love for action, that’s a pretty unusual clip featuring Ajith.
 
Telugu
 
1. Megastar Chiranjeevi: The Pokemon grand master (Alluda Majaka, 1995)
 
 
In an effort to arrest Chiranjeevi, the police forces destroy all of their vehicles and mostly, everything around them! Ramming into buildings, flying jeeps! But the best part of the video is when Chiranjeevi decides to use a horse. Watching a horse flying in air and sliding smoothly under the lorry, makes you go ”What did I just watch”! Somebody call PETA!
 
 
2. Balakrishna: 180 degree somersault (Maharathi, 2007)
 
 
Balayya does what he does best – death-defying stunts! This one is special as he decides to defeat water! And he does it in slo-mo. He’s probably the ultimate action hero Tollywood has ever seen. Complex much?
 
3. Manchu Vishnu: Man Vs. Bullet (Saleem, 2009)
 
 
Move over Matrix, Vishnu Manchu can run faster than the speed of a bullet.
 
4. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan: Winner of Takeshie’s Castle and Wipeout. (Puli, 2010)
 
 
We’ve found the ultimate winner of the challenging reality show, and he is Pawan Kalyan
