Actor kids who didn’t quite make it

They say it takes talent, grit, hard work, and a whole lot more to make it big in B-Town. However, everyone doesn’t exactly mention one thing you need apart from the aforementioned. And what is that, you ask? Star parents, of course! Well, it’s nice to come from a filmy background, and you’re a little more confident about your abilities as a performer, since it runs in your blood. Take a couple of Bollywood’s best actors and actresses at the moment – Ranbir Kapoor, son of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor. Alia Bhatt, daughter of Mahesh Bhatt. Tiger Shroff, son of Jackie Shroff. Kareena Kapoor Khan, daughter of Randhir Kapoor , the list goes on and on. But, there’s also a group of a few unlucky souls who, despite coming from Bollywood royalty, didn’t quite make a mark. Presenting to you, the fails of Bollywood!

Tanishaa
Tanishaa is an anomaly in herself. The daughter of yesteryear heartthrob Tanuja, she actually has a sister as well – Kajol! Unfortunately, Tanishaa is nothing like her sister, making the wrong role choices. Remember Neal N Nikki?

Esha Deol
The last film we remember seeing Esha Deol in was Dhoom, and even in that, she was quite forgettable. The actress took a hiatus post the film, and is now married to Bharat Takhtani, a businessman.

Abhishek Bachchan
The son of the Shahenshah. Unfortunately for him, he hasn’t seen success like his father. Junior Bachchan did have a good run for a while, which included the release of Guru and Dhoom.

Mimoh Chakraborty
Mimoh, or Mahaakshay, is the son of yesteryear superstar, Mithun Chakraborty. He made his debut in the mostly forgettable film Jimmy, and unfortunately for him, didn’t inherit his father’s slick moves.

Sikander Kher
Born to powerhouse performers Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher, Sikander Kher is what you’d call the black sheep of the Kher family. Fun fact, he went to film school with Uday Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan! That explains his abysmal career.

Adhyayan Suman
His father is the Jay Leno of B-Town. Adhyayan has featured in a series of flops – Haal-E-Dil, Jashnn, Himmatwala, Heartless, Dehraadun Diary, etc etc. You gotta give him credit for trying though.

Uday Chopra
When you’re the son of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, the brother of Aditya Chopra and the brother-in-law of Rani Mukerji, you have a lot to live up to. Unfortunately, Uday Chopra didn’t live up to anything. He now has an unbelievably thriving Twitter account.

So there you have it. 7 actors, who despite having the lineage for Bollywood, didn’t quite make it big. Acting’s a tough job, I guess!
