Director A. R. Murugadoss is clearly one of the few filmmakers who has made impressive films that managed to attain critical and commercial success. He made his debut with the Tamil film Dheena, and went on to direct films such as Ghajini and 7aum Arivu. Not just that, he has made a mark in Tollywood and Bollywood as well. The director is currently busy working on his Telugu film with Mahesh Babu in the lead. He is also awaiting the release of his Hindi film Akira (remake of the Tamil film Mouna Guru) starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.
Murugadoss is in the news for another reason now. Reports suggest that Murugadoss is likely to work with Ajith once again. The duo previously worked together 15 years ago, for the film Dheena. It has been reported that Murugadoss worked on a script just for the actor. Said to be a message-oriented film, and shot with a high budget. Actor-producer Udhayanidhi recently confirmed that he is likely to bankroll the project in his banner Red Giant Movies.
Murugadoss and Ajith were previously said to work together in a film titled Mirattal, however the project got shelved due to unknown reasons. Recently, Murugadoss even teased his followers on Twitter by posting the first-look poster of the film. However, he later clarified that he is not likely to revive that project.
