The Animation film industry has given us some unforgettably cute characters. Some of them are so adorable that even macho men couldn’t help but have a soft spot for them. From Toothless to Po here are our special six.
Toothless from the How to Train Your Dragon series
What’s most attractive about Toothless is how his black eyes stand out on his black smooth skin. The first time you see Toothless, you’ll feel that he’s of the harmless, innocent sort. Even when Hiccup saw him for the first time he said, "I wouldn’t kill him because he looked as frightened as I was. I looked at him, and I saw myself." Incomparable in both speed and intelligence he is supposedly the only living Night Fury (the rarest and most intelligent of the known species of dragon).
Baby Simba from the Lion King series
There’s no doubt that Simba looked angelic when he was a cub. There are dozens of adorable moments but our favorite is the one where Simba is presented by Rafiki to the Pride Lands. Simba doesn’t utter a word but looks at all the animals in the kingdom innocently.
Minions from the Despicable Me series
There’s something about these tiny yellow henchmen that is irresistibly attractive. In Despicable Me 2, we get to see the evil side of the minions – a look that’s complete with a wild hair-do, big teeth and turning completely purple. From speaking a mix of French, Spanish, making references to food and beating each other up the minions are at their cutest best even when they’re evil.
Donkey from the Shrek series
Shrek’s faithful companion, Donkey voiced by funny-guy Eddie Murphy is hilarious. He’s annoying, talkative, euphoric, stupid and sensitive. One of the most adorable moments in the Shrek series is Donkey cuddling the cute ‘mutant babies’ or dronkeys he had with Dragon in Shrek 2.
Po from Kung Fu Panda series
Po looks most attractive and his awesome best in the scene where he shamelessly declares that "There is no charge for awesomeness… or attractiveness.” This ball of fur is a deadly yet cuddly combo of funny, cute and brave.
Dug from Up
Dug is fluffy, smart and an overdose of love. The film gives us plenty of moments to "aww" at him. Yet one cannot forget Dug having his head because he’s been made to wear the cone of shame.
Alpha: Now, you must wear the cone of shame.
Dug: [hangs head] I do not like the cone of shame.
So who’s your favourite?
