Taking place in February each year, Vh1 Supersonic has made its name as the best multi-genre music festival in India. As most of the music festivals and concerts that take place happen to be limited to electronic dance music, Supersonic has created a space for fans who love all kinds of music. Vh1 Supersonic 2019 lineup has already been announced for phase 1 along with the hosts. The hosts will be MC Stretch and Rohit Barker for the latest edition and here are all the artists that will be performing:
It’s a good news for Mello gang as Marshmello returns for another year to get the party started at Vh1 Supersonic. The American helmet wearing EDM artist has had a fabulous year with the release of his second studio album, Joytime II. His latest hit is a collaboration with the British band Bastille called Happier, and we couldn’t be happier to see him perform at Supersonic again.
This British musician’s songs combine world music and jazz influences to create an upbeat ambient feel which is different from the EDM you might be used to, but still perfect for dancing along. One of his biggest hits is Kerela, which is a track from his sixth album, Migration. Bonobo will be performing live with an eight-piece ensemble at the music festival.
Other Artists At Supersonic:
There are more international artists in the Vh1 Supersonic 2019 lineup. Some of them are the Amsterdam electronic band Cubicolor, the American instrumental rock band Polyphia, the Brazilian EDM duo Tropkillaz, and the British electronic artist Troyboi.
Apart from these, there are also going to be a host of Indian artists that will be performing at Vh1 Supersonic. The genre of these musicians is varied as well. Techno artists such as Arjun Vagale, Ash Roy, and Tuhin Mehta will be performing as well as the renowned blues band Blackstratblues along with electronic groups with their own unique sounds such as Lost Stories, BLOT!, Kohra, and Zaeden.
This is just the Phase I lineup and there are going to be a lot more artists at the music festival. Stay tuned for more announcements.
