Fun Facts About Baahubali 2: The Conclusion

Karan Johar has stated that the release of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will be the greatest event Indian cinema has ever witnessed. We do agree with him as the buzz around the film has gone through the roof. Initially scheduled to be released in 2016, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will finally hit theaters on April 28

Known for films like Eega, Magadheera, and of course, Baahubali: The Beginning, director S. S. Rajamouli spent a lot of time on the VFX as he wanted the sequel to be bigger and better. He roped in the best technicians to make Baahubali 2: The Conclusion look at par with Hollywood movies. With less than a month for its release, here are a few facts about how the film franchise. 

The shooting of Baahubali 2 began on December 17, 2015 at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Prabhas and Ramya Krishna were a part of this schedule. 

Since it is the first Indian film to be released in 4K High Definition format, many theaters have to upgrade their projectors in order to screen Baahubali 2. 

Rana Daggubati had to undergo rigorous training to look ripped in Baahubali 2. The actor worked out for hours and followed a strict diet. He received praise from fans and colleagues when he posted an image of his beefed-up body on Instagram. 

While both the films were to be made on a budget of INR 2.5 billion, the delay in the release ensured that the producers had to shell out more money. The makers don't have to bother about the return on investment as just the satellite and theatrical rights of Baahubali 2 have been sold for INR 5 billion

Karan Johar is a smart producer and since he knew Baahubali: The Beginning was going to be a sure-shot success, he decided to distribute it. Dharma Productions is currently promoting the sequel on various platforms. 

A special camera was manufactured in order to film certain portions of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Built by AMD, the camera is called BB360 and was revealed at the Jio MAMI 2016 Movie Mela
