Before She Became The Queen…

Life is a constant struggle. Nothing comes easy, whether it is money, fame or films. The perfect example of this is Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut’s career. After the success of Queen in 2013, there’s been no looking back for this stunning actress. She has been delivering back-to-back successes. Now everyone is fawning over her acting and style. But yes, she too had an ugly past. A few years ago, Kangana’s career was going down the drain. A few good Bhatt films aside, she was just another struggling actress trying desperately to make her mark in B-town.
Let’s take a look at Kangana Ranaut’s worst films ever.

Shakalaka Boom Boom (2007)

The less you know about this film, the better. Starring Upen Patel, Celina Jaitly, Bobby Deol and Kangana Ranaut, Shakalaka Boom Boom was a film about the music industry. Oh, and the music director of the film was Himesh Reshammiya. Need we say more?

Vaada Raha… I Promise (2009)

Did you even know that this film exists? Unfortunately, we do. This is another blooper from Kangana Ranaut’s showreel. Whatever this film promised, we’re certain it wasn’t very pleasant.

Knock Out (2010)

Directed by Mani Shankar, Knock Out starred some superb actors like Irrfan Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Gulshan Grover and also Kangana Ranaut. But it turned out to be just another Bollywood caper with a powerful cast, and not much else.

No Problem (2010)

This slapstick comedy by Anees Bazmee was a disaster of a film. Quite ironically, everything was a problem in this film. Right from the cast to the plot, No Problem had chronic problems that no producer could have solved.

Rascals (2011)

This film was a box office dud. It was also one of Kangana’s many miss-able performances.

Tezz (2012)

Despite having a stellar cast including Ajay Devgn, Boman Irani and Anil Kapoor, Tezz failed to impress the public and the critics. Kangana Ranaut was also there in the film, though we couldn’t figure out why.

No matter how bad Kangana’s films were in the past, the star is definitely on a roll now! She will be next seen in Nikhil Advani’s Katti Batti, which was earlier titled ‘Saali Kutiya’. Bet you didn’t know that?!
