The Emmy nominations were out last week and if you haven’t checked them already, we bring good news for you! Your favorite show – Game of Thrones – leads with 23 nominations, including Best Drama Series, Best Supporting Actress in Drama Series (Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, and Maisie Williams) and Best Supporting Actor in Drama Series (Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage). On the other hand, popular comedy show Modern Family has been nominated for Best Comedy Series for the seventh consecutive year. While these shows remain classic favorites of TV fans, there’s a lot you need to know about the other nominees, too.

Firstly, the English TV shows of today are possibly some of the best shows ever made on TV. And while some of you may enjoy the generic saas-bahu drama that you find on Indian TV, some of these shows are hitting milestones in terms of writing, story, casting and performance. Sitcom actors are making over $1 million per episode and drama series like Game of Thrones and House of Cards are massive hits worldwide.

But apart from these popular and well-known shows, we bring you a list of 10 outstanding TV series that you need to add to your watch list right now! Here you go:
