The only place where crooks, thieves and con men gain our undivided sympathy, is mainstream cinema. The kind of films that delight us in showing the elaborate robbery schemes plotted by the thieves are, heist films. A successful sub-genre, the heist films persuade us to admire the devious capability of the crooks, while hoping that they don’t get framed by the law. This is later led to a convincing love story between the two.

One of Hollywood’s most-adorable detectives, Jacques Clouseau never fails to win our hearts with his charm. One of the earliest films of the series, the admirable Frenchman was given the job of recovering the largest diamond in the world, the Pink Panther.
