It is very rare for us to actually follow through on our childhood dreams. By the time we reach adulthood, we look for more lucrative options to earn a living and eventually our childhood dreams remain dreams. This doesn’t apply to all though. There are few like James Thomas Fallon also known as Jimmy Fallon who actually achieved their childhood dreams.
Jimmy’s childhood dream was to be on Saturday Night Live and at the age of 24, he was hired as the cast member of the series. He was the only one who could make the stern Lorne Michaels laugh by doing his Adam Sandler impression. After working doing his dream job for many years, he moved on with his own show which he took over from Jay Leno.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon became an instant hit with the celebs as well as the audience. Jimmy has hosted the President, movie stars and YouTube celebs too. He has managed to put all of them at ease with keeping the conversation light and having contests like the lip-sync battle to make the show even more fun.
Bollywood has already put a tiny footstep in the show when Priyanka Chopra was invited. Keeping that in mind, on Jimmy Fallon's birthday, we have compiled a list of Bollywood celebs we would wish to see on the show.
Shah Rukh Khan
We love when a candid SRK on Koffee With Karan and this extremely witty star will woo the audience on Jimmy's show too. He will be open to sketches and pranks and the show will just get better.
He has already starred in a number of Hollywood movies and it is high time he makes an appearance on The Tonight Show. With some of his collaborations with comedy groups like AIB and others, we know well he is not averse to comedy sketches and does them very well.
Why do we want to see the Shahenshah on the show? Well, because he is THE Amitabh Bachchan! He has charmed the Indian audience for generations and also made his Hollywood debut with The Great Gatsby. It would be nice to have him on the show and see him be a part of comedy sketches and fun games like the lip-sync battle.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan
Jimmy has never had royalty on his show and this might be the perfect opportunity for him to have "The Royal Couple" of India.
We wish Jimmy Fallon a very happy birthday and a great year ahead.
