Taking his love for the game further, Kapoor purchased a stake in the Mumbai City FC of the Indian Super League (ISL). The football tournament has been taking place for the past two years. Ranbir‘s team, however hasn’t performed well in both seasons.
The 2016 edition of the Pro Kabbadi League is under way and a few days ago, the entire Bachchan family, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted watching a match. Abhishek Bachchan is the owner of the Jaipur Pink Panthers franchise and is a regular at the stadium. His team won the inaugural season of this popular league.
The Bang Bang star co-owns the Pune City FC of the ISL. Initially, Salman Khan was set to come on board but since things materialized, the Wadhawan Group roped in Hrithik Roshan. The team’s performance has been decent, and Roshan claimed that he would dance at the stadium if the Pune franchise wins the league.

Shah Rukh Khan has been associated with the Kolkata Knight Riders since the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team had a disastrous first few seasons but eventually won the fifth edition of the tournament. Currently, the side is captained by Gautam Gambhir, and they made it to the playoffs of the night edition (2016) of the league.
John Abraham may love football, but when it came to purchasing a sports’ team, he chose hockey. The Dishoom actor owns a share in the Delhi franchise of the Hockey India League. The team won the 2014 season of the tournament and boasts of a strong lineup of players.
