*Cue epic James Bond soundtrack*
He’s back, and he’s back with a bang. For those who do not know, his name is Bond. James Bond. The twenty-fourth film of the stylish franchise has arrived. And boy, does it look good! Replete with guns, girls and sheer awesomeness, the trailer looks amazing and has us hungry for more. Titled as Spectre, the film has a stellar cast, with huge names like Daniel Craig, Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, Ralph Fiennes and Christoph Waltz. Spectre marks Craig’s fourth appearance as Bond, and Sam Mendes‘ second Bond film as director. The film takes off right after the events of Skyfall, in the aftermath of the bombing of MI6.
This time, however, Agent 007 has to deal with a blast from the past, someone who’s out to get him, someone who knows Bond better than he knows himself. The villain will be essayed by Christoph Waltz, who will play Franz Oberhauser. MI6 is also in danger, with M defending it from political pressures that want to see it decommissioned. All in all, it seems like a helluva battle for both Bond and the MI6.
Old cast members are also making a return to the franchise that has achieved cult status. Spectre will see Naomie Harris reprise her role as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q and Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner. Apart from the A-list cast, Spectre will also see Dave Bautista (of WWE fame) and Andrew Scott (of Sherlock fame) play integral roles. Another highlight the trailer reveals is perhaps the best part of any James Bond film- the cars. Spectre will see a sleek new Aston Martin DB10, which was created specifically for the film.
Spectre releases on the 6th of November, 2015. Are you as excited as we are? Check out the trailer here!
