‘Dastangoi: Dastan Raja Vikram ki’

Inspired by the character of Vikramaditya from the stories ‘Vikram Samvat’ and ‘Vikram aur Betaal’, Dastan Raja Vikram Ki tells the tale of a lovelorn man who has sworn never to laugh again. Then he meets the storyteller Princess Chauboli in the guise of a man.

‘Bebaak Ismat’

Directed by Shilpi Marwaha, Bebaak Ismat is a dramatisation of a selection of short stories by the fierce Urdu writer Ismat Chughtai, who was famous for exploring themes of women’s sexuality and feminist ideals.
