Meet Hyderabad ki tez Gulrez (Parineeti Chopra) and Lucknow ka dil-phainkh aashiq Tariq (Aditya Roy Kapur) as together they weave a sweet and spicy tale of romance, fun and food.
Slated to release on September 19, Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur are busy promoting their film. The Daawat-e-Ishq stars embarked on a hot and piping food yatra discovering great food joints – all the way from Mumbai to Chandigarh.

Aditya and Parineeti kick-started the Food Yatra from one of Mumbai’s most-famous morning food joints in Matunga – Cafe Madras. After indulging in an enjoyable breakfast of Vada Sambhar, Idli Butter Pudi, Butter Dosa, Set Dosa and the famous ‘Kaapi’, the Daawat-e-Ishq pair fueled up for a bike ride from Mumbai to Charoti en route to Talasari.
Aditya and Parineeti indulged in drool-worthy Parsi delicacies at Parsi-da-Dhaba. Keema half-fry, Patrani-Machchi, Mutton Dhansak… the list just gets better.
Before heading to Ahmedabad, the food-struck pair hit Shree Balaji Janta Ice Cream Centre known for its inventive and original flavors.

The Daawat-e-Ishq duo was treated to authentic Gujarati spread at the scenic Vishalla in Ahmedabad. They were heartily tucking into delectable dishes like Bhinda, Puri-Tamatar Aloo, Tuvar Dal, Jalebi, and Sukhadi, before they set off to move from Gujarat to Rajasthan!
A splendid Rajasthani thali… mmm! The culturally-rich Pride Amber Vatika welcomed the Daawat-e-Ishq stars with their grand Rajasthani thali. Wait, there’s more! After a scrumptious dinner, Parineeti and Aditya enjoyed folk music and a fun round of Antakshari with Sunidhi Chauhan and Javed Ali.

After a wholesome pure-vegetarian lunch on the highway, the duo proceeded to the Dargah amidst a huge gathering of locals and foreign tourists!
The Daawat-e-ishq duo spiced up the evening with Qawwali night! Set against the majestic monumental ode-to-love backdrop – Taj Mahal, the singing session was led by the musical maestros Sajid-Wajid along with the supremely-talented Sabri Brothers,
The day ended with a romantic dinner date with the couple’s favorite dishes served under a candle-lit gazebo by the pool side.
Gulrez and Tariq soaked in the atmosphere in the city of love before they headed to Delhi for the fourth day of the Food Yatra.
Agra aake petha nahi khaya… Toh kya khaya? And Aditya and Parineeti were only too happy to start the day with sweet indulgence – Agra’s famous Panchi Petha! Waah… waah!
It’s time to hit the Yamuna Expressway! But before reaching dilwaalon ki Dilli, the duo dug into tasty Rajma-Chawal for lunch.
Much love was showered upon the Daawat-e-Ishq pair by the students of Delhi. The girls of Miranda House welcomed Aditya by professing their aashiqui, while Parineeti cheered them on!
The next destination was South Delhi’s popular Rajinder da Dhaba – every Delhi foodie’s delight. Our beloved foodies indulged in some hot chicken tikka and dahi ke kabab. They ended their day in the Capital with a lip-smacking dinner followed by ice-cream at India Gate!
Sukhdev Dhaba’s piping hot makhan maar ke parathas, puri aalu along with kheer and gulab jamun, washed down with chilled lassi kick-started the Food Yatra in the morning at the famous dhaba town of Sonipat in Haryana.
After a smooth ride passing many fields and many more tractors, ghar ka khana awaited Aditya and Parineeti in Ambala where Gullu’s Mom & Dad, Mr. and Mrs. Chopra gracefully hosted the entire Daawat-e-Ishq team and left them delighted and craving for more. Parineeti’s favourite dishes were served at this special homecoming – aloo jeera, black dal and delicious biscuit pudding over lots of love, warmth and affection!
Pal Dhaba’s dinner of chicken curry and mutton biryani finished the day in true Punjabi flavour and style in the heart of Chandigarh! Aditya and Parineeti relished every morsel of their last meal on the Food Yatra.
The “Daawat-e-Ishq Food Yatra” comes to a grand end celebrating a day full of Punjabi daawat and ishq! Burrp!
