Review:

Warning: Hazardous to health. Kindly carry an aspirin for pain free viewing.

Past life, oops correction… past lives, long lost lovers from one past life to another, to another, wait for it, wait for it, yes …to another and another.  A story with loopholes the size of the potholes on Mumbai roads. A script that assumes the audience still lives in the 70’s and will believe any godforsaken logic. If your intelligence could speak, it would say ‘ouch, I’m insulted’. And there’s nothing worse than a bad film in 3D, it just makes it 3 times worse.

The good bit of course could be (yes, there is one) to go under the influence of spirits (that must not be named) and have an LOL time with friends.

So, Sanjana (Karishma Kapoor) is a super model engaged to be married to Rohan (Rajneesh Duggal) who is suddenly kidnapped under suspicious circumstances. Meanwhile Sanjana starts seeing things from her past life. She goes to a doctor who specializes in past life regression and sees her past life clearly. She realizes that in order to catch the kidnappers she must solve the mysteries of her past life connections with Rohan and the enemies of their past who have kept them apart in each of their past lives. Yes, they have been lovers in many lives but never united in any of them. In order to be together in her present life, she must delve into the depths of all these past life memories to catch the villain that haunts them. Interesting right? If only I could keep a straight face while saying that.

As for Karishma Kapoor and her big comeback, i wish she could have chosen wisely. Despite a decent performance, the botched up, faulty script made her look like a puppet in the hands of some really stoned puppeteers. The same goes for Jimmy Shergill as well, decent performances, but to no avail.

If you want an excuse to bunk work, watch this film. Come back with a migraine and call the day off to heal.

Verdict: Watch only if you intend to laugh your way through it.
