Here’s Why Diljit Dosanjh’s Super Singh is a Must-Watch

How often do you see an actor from regional cinema grabbing national attention? Not many, right! Here, we are not referring to actors from South Indian industry, but actors from other industries like Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati and Bengali who often get less limelight when compared to their counterparts. This is not the case with Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh. He first established himself as a most sought after musical artist. He tried his luck in films too and with blockbusters like the Jatt & Juliet franchise, Punjab 1984, the Sardaar Ji franchise and Ambarsariya, he is now a superstar in all sense.

The multi-faceted Diljit made his Bollywood debut last year with Udta Punjab. That was his ticket to national fame. He then appeared as one of the experts in Colors TV’s show Rising Star along with Shankar Mahadevan and Monali Thakur. And now, as the actor’s biggest film Super Singh is releasing tomorrow, we give you three reasons why the film promises to be a sure winner.

The first-ever Punjabi superhero film

The makers of Super Singh are promoting the film as first-ever Punjabi superhero film. This itself is considered as the biggest USP of the film. The Punjabi film lovers and Diljit fans across the globe are eagerly waiting for the release. Reportedly, the film will have a wider release overseas, especially in Canada, where Punjabi diaspora is more in number when compared to other countries.

The hit combo of Diljit Dosanjh and Anurag Singh

The actor-director duo who are popularly known for giving Punjabi film industry its biggest hits like Jatt & Juliet franchise and Punjab 1984 are expected to deliver another blockbuster. There was a time when both of them were struggling to find producers for this dream project, even after having an excellent track record. But that didn’t stop them seeking and finally, Balaji Motion Pictures agreed to bankroll the film. And going by the trailer and other promotional videos, the outcome is definitely to look forward to.

The music

The music of Super Singh is composed by Jatinder Shah. The soundtrack is already a winner topping all music and radio channel charts. The songs like Hawa Vich and Kalliyan Kulliyan both sung by Diljit is there to stay with you for a long time.
