The four good-for- nothing jokers from Dhamaal are back again! They are still as stupid and useless as before. Hard work is a strict no no and the only work they have ever done in their lives is to lie down on their backsides and dream about a good life. What they don`t know is that soon their dreams are going to turn into nightmares because Kabir, their old foe has his own plans for them. So, who will have the last laugh in this cat and mouse game? Canny Kabir or our four loveable jokers?
Review on –the-go:
Whether or not you’ve seen the first installment, “Double Dhamaal” is boring. Filled with forceful gags and not-so-funny jokes, it relies too much on vulgarity. Badly scripted, this comedy caper makes you long for aspirin.
If you’re absolutely in love with these 4 jokers or with Mallika, then it might be worth a shot. But if you go looking for a fun filled comedy caper, then you’re going to be disappointed. In fact the only way to sit through this film is, if you go with zero expectations. None of the gags are fresh; you’ve seen and heard them all before. And the overdose of mimicry feels like you’re watching a shady comedy reality show. The 4 boys try to salvage something that’s entirely bad writing. Kangana is only too happy to show off her newly acquired assets, and Mallika, well, for the lovers of vulgarity; she’s a treat.
So, for those with really low expectation, it might be tolerable. As for the rest, wait for a better movie next week.
