Dulquer Salmaan is one of the most sought-after actor in Malayalam film industry. Amal Neerad’s films are also known for its action sequences that goes very well with the theme of the film. For instance, the action sequences in period drama Iyobinte Pustakam were very raw and rustic. The Hollywood stunt choreographer Mark Chavarria is best known for his work in films like Logan (2017), Inception (2010), Terminator Salvation (2009) and Pearl Harbor (2001). It would be interesting to see how he choreographs the stunts with a shoestring budget compared to enormous ones of Hollywood films.

The social, political and cultural fabric of Kerala is deeply rooted with leftist ideologies. So, films with a communist undertone is guaranteed with a decent opening. And if the film is average and above, then it surely turns out to be hit. The latest release in this list was Oru Mexican Aparatha and Sakhavu (2017). The latter was a bigger hit due to Nivin Pauly’s stardom. The music of the film composed by Gopi Sunder is already a chartbuster. The romantic track Kannil Kannil is the new love song of the season. The song Vaanam Thilathilakkanu sung by Dulquer himself has been loved by both his fans and music lovers. This song is very different from his earlier songs like Johnny Mone Johnny from ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi and Chundari Penne from Charlie. Incidentally, the music for both films were composed by Gopi Sunder.
