5 Homemade Masks for Luscious/Gorgeous Hair

Avocado mask

For dull, dry hair, an excellent option would be an avocado mask. Not only does it make it soft, but it also increases the volume. All you need is a ripe avocado, half cup milk and a spoonful of oil. Mix and apply. Rinse after 15  minutes.

Oatmeal mask

All those who have scalp-related issues such as dandruff or itchiness, make a paste of oatmeal, milk, and oil and leave it on your hair for about 20 minutes. The difference will be visible with a few washes.

Banana mask

Two whole ripe bananas blended with a spoon of coconut oil, olive oil and honey each. Apply this 5 minutes before washing your hair. The banana mask is the most natural way of adding shine to your hair.

Yogurt mask

Too much of dryness due to rains, styling or overuse of chemicals can make your hair look extremely dull and weak. This can also lead to them getting tangled. Apply a small cup of yogurt to slightly damp hair and leave for 15 minutes. Sour cream can be used as a substitute.

Egg mask

Although the smell of eggs may not be very pleasant, they are extremely rich in proteins, vitamins and potassium. They help in reducing hair fall and heals damaged hair. Beat an egg yolk, add a cup of milk, a spoon of oil and squeeze some lemon juice in it. Your mask is ready! Keep for 20 mins and rinse with cold water.
