Yesterday, Atul Khatri performed live at Four Point Sheraton in Navi Mumbai. He managed to leave the audience in splits throughout the show. Stand-up is no funny business and according to the EIC comedian, the ‘stand-up’ part is more difficult than doing comedy.
To give a brief about the comedian, Atul Khatri is a Mumbai-based businessman married to a Punjabi woman, who always orders his soup one by two. He is the winner of CEO’s Got Talent and was also one of the three finalists in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival contest. With so many achievements in his life, Atul Khatri has most of his bucket list items checked off. However, he still waits for the prom night with the students of an All-Girls School in Bandra, which he was promised by his All-Boys School decades ago.

A Chalta Hai Comedy Presentation, Atul Khatri Live was a paisa vasool event and there was not one moment of boredom. After a hilarious opening act that saw comedy being made on religion and society, the next one hour was full of sexual jokes, anecdotes on marriage, fidelity, the Sindhi community, children, Thailand, Tinder and everything a 40+ individual can think of. Marriage was one topic the comedian couldn’t get enough of. A number of jokes were only relatable to the married folks in the crowd. The other favorite topic of the comedian was that of ‘stingy Sindhis’.
In no time, we realized that amidst all the laughter and embarrassment to a family of three sitting in the front row, the time had just passed by. Atul Khatri met the audience members after the show for a Meet-and-Greet session. Despite being a CEO and a reputed comedian, the man had no air of pride around him and meeting him was truly a wonderful experience.
So if you wish to experience real comedy, Atul Khatri is the man whose show you need to go for. Here is a sample video of what kind of comedy you will be served at his show.
