Naatak Na Naatak Nu Naatak Review- BookMyShow

Naatak Na Naatak Nu Naatak Is a Dramatic Entertainer

Theatre is an extremely creative field and inarguably, a platform to showcase your talent live to millions out there. It’s not a cakewalk to entertain a live audience and it gets even tougher when it’s comedy. A Gujarati adaptation of the international west end and Broadway drama, The Play That Goes WrongNaatak Na Naatak Nu Naatak is a laugh riot where everything goes wrong. Produced by Sharman Joshi, it is a play within a play and is full of hilarious situations. A performance put together by some of the most talented artists in theatre, this one was the much-needed dose of comedy on a Sunday night.

The play was an experience more than just a watch. The content is fresh and the execution and performance are exceptional. Right from the beginning, you see how this play is not just an ordinary act. It starts with the actors walking around the auditorium in search of a Bhajan CD and getting one of the audience members to come help them set up the stage. The play within the play is a murder mystery, the execution of which makes you realize what goes into a drama and its execution on stage. The comedy of errors makes you hold your stomach, as you laugh out loud while making you realize what it takes to put up a play. The characters are finely written and it is fairly evident that a lot of thinking has gone into the making of this act. The coordination between the actors is marvelous, especially the dialogue delivery and the comic timing.

Talking about individual performances, Kamlesh Oza, best remembered as Bhaveshkumar of the popular Khichdi series, was outstanding. But our favorite would have to be Karan Bhanushali, who plays the role of two different characters and does not leave any stone unturned to make you fall off your seat with laughter. All the other actors were equally good on the acting front and they successfully put up an act that kept the audiences hooked to the seat.

Our Recommendation:

Go for this unique presentation if you’re in for some fun time. It’s a family drama that you wouldn’t want to miss. Only three shows old, there isn’t a single flaw in the entire act. Of course, the play caters to a niche audience who is willing to go for a different experience, but we would highly recommend this one to all. So hurry up and book your tickets now for their next performance.

P.S. Remember to reach the venue on time since you can’t afford to miss any bit of the play or you may find yourself a little lost about what’s going on.
