Deriving its name from saint and satan, Saitan Theatre Group was founded in 2014 by Rajneesh Gautam and Namita Verma. The fourth edition of their theatre festival works towards cultivating theatre in colleges. This 11-day theatre festival has a clutch of plays in Hindi and English produced by college theatre groups. Watch dramas such as I Am Yusuf And This Is My Brother by Palestinian writer Amir Nizar Zuabi, which is a love story set in 1948 during the partition of British Palestine and Israel, and Asad Hussain’s Naqqash, in which police brutality and the forces of capitalism have all but wiped out men from a village.
