For Sufi and world music fans, here is some pleasant news – British Sufi sensation Sami Yusuf is coming to India. The sought-after artist is making his India debut at The Sufi Route in Delhi on Saturday, February 9. For his first ever performance in our country, he will be crooning soulful melodies along with none other than AR Rahman.

Yep, you read that right. Over 250,000 people attended Sami Yusuf’s concert in Taksim Square in Istanbul in 2013, making it one of the largest live concert gatherings ever. Yusuf has performed across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and North Africa.
- Named “The Biggest British Star in the Middle East” by The Guardian.
The Guardian had named Sami Yusuf the biggest British star in the Middle East when he was just 25.
