While English and Hindi stand-up comedy are well established, regional comedians are gradually emerging on the scene. For instance, The Comedy Factory, a two-hour-long show that will take place in Mumbai this weekend is a satire on Gujarati culture and language involving improv, stand-up, music and sketch comedy. The show features comedians Manan Desai, Chirayu Mistry, Ojas Rawal, Om Bhatt, Aariz Saiyed and Deep Vaidya.
