Birthday Special: 7 All-time Classics by the musical legend, R. D. Burman

Today, we celebrate the 78th birth anniversary of one of the legendary music composers of the Indian music industry – R. D. Burman. It would not be an overstatement to say that Pancham Da, as he was lovingly called, revolutionized the Indian music scene completely with his western music influences that surpassed several genres from oriental to jazz to Arabic music. His association with other legends like Gulzar, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle gave Bollywood unforgettable classics that are popular to this date.
