If you’re a movie or theatre buff, this is for you. We’ve listed three screenings in Mumbai: The Lehman Trilogy, a play produced by London’s National Theatre, the Spanish movie Amores Perros and a short film festival.
‘The Lehman Trilogy’
This critically acclaimed British play (pictured above) is the story of a family and a company that rocked the world, told in three parts. In nineteenth century New York, three brothers from Bavaria set out to live the American dream, and establish what would go on to become one of the largest financial services firms in the world, Lehman Brothers Inc. Over a century and a half later, the firm underwent a staggering collapse, triggering the largest financial crisis in history.

‘Love’s A Bitch’
Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s Spanish film Amores Perros (2000), which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2000, follows three characters, whose lives collide as a result of a car crash in Mexico City. They are Octavio, who is love with his sister-in-law, Valeria, a model whose career comes to an end after the crash and El Chivo, an assassin.
