Known as the married guy of the Indian stand-up comedy circuit, Amit Tandon will present a set of jokes based on his observation that the number of mistakes he makes every year has not decreased with the passing of time. At 42, he’s stopped trying to get wiser.

Trying Naya Maal by Abijit Ganguly

‘Gati’

Directed by SN Sethuram, this Kannada play (pictured above) revolves around the social issues that plague India today as seen through the eyes of a man and his granddaughter, whose conversations explore changes in social attitudes after Independence.

‘Nangyaako Doubtu’

Directed by Madhusudhan Kanekal, this Kannada comedy is based on the idea that doubt wrecks relationships. The plot revolves around a married couple and young lovers who, go through a period of doubt before earning each others’ trust.
