Best in Stand-up

Comedians Kishore Dayani and Saurav Mehta join hands with ventriloquist Seema Golchha for this hilarious comedy show.

Ravi Gupta

Ravi Gupta, a stand-up comic and cartoonist, draws on his illustrative days in his sets. His observations about random objects makes him a delight on stage.

The Half Fried Show

Delhi’s sarcastic pride, Aakash Gupta, gets on stage this weekend to offer a peek into his untested jokes that may or may not land. Going by his reputation, it will be classic Delhi banter that Aakash so respectfully brings to the stage.

The Humor Showcase – Special Edition

Comedian Nitin Gupta (Rivaldo) teams up with impressive fresh voice Kishore Dayani for this edition of the series, The Humor Showcase.
When: Saturday, October 20 at 8pm.
Where: Akshara Theatre, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, near Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

Nothing Abt Godzilla by Sumit Anand

The man who hated his job and became a freelancer has decided to take on Godzilla (sort of) in his first solo show. If his YouTube videos are anything to go by, this is bound to be a cracker of a show.

Bollywood Night featuring Solfege

Nosh on toothsome food and drink and be serenaded by sufi rock courtesy Delhi-based Hindi rock band Solfege.

‘The Front Page’

The Front Page is a Hindi adaptation of the Broadway show of the same name, penned by Chicago reporters Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur. In the play, produced by theatre group Dramatech, a bunch of reporters while away time in the press room of the Chicago Criminal Courts Building. They’re there to see a hanging, which will take place at the gallows next door.
When: Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 at 7pm.

‘Jab Khuli Kitaab’

Veteran theater actor and director Saurabh Shukla reflects upon fidelity in this relationship drama. It’s the story of an ageing couple in the process of getting a divorce and how the episode results in uniting them.
When: Saturday, October 20 at 7.30pm and Sunday, October 21 at 4pm and 7.30pm.

Old World Theater Festival

The India Habitat Centre plays host to the sixteenth edition of the Old World Theater Festival. Watch 16 plays from around the country under one roof in a span of nine days.
