In Talks With Vijay Yadav
In this comedy show, which follows the format of a talk show, comic Vijay Yadav will chat with fellow funny men Maheep Singh and Parvinder Singh.

The 30 Something Weirdo
Like a lot of MBAs, Amar Singh quit a, presumably, well-paying job to pursue comedy. In his set, he jokes about his decision and makes light of Delhi, start-ups and politics among other topics.

Qawwals of Nizamuddin
Celebrate Republic Day by listening to some of the qawwals who perform at Nizamuddin dargah at Kunzum Travel Cafe, which is known for encouraging patrons to pay what they like.
When: Saturday, January 26 at 6pm.
Where: Kunzum Travel Cafe, A40 Kibithu Villas Complex, Sector 47, Opposite Good Earth City Centre, Hilton Garden Inn, Baani Square, Block A, Gurgaon.
Hum along with singer Mona Khare, who will croon songs from movies featuring heroines from the golden era of Hindi cinema such as Madhubala, Meena Kumari, Nutan, Vyjanthimala, Sadhana and Waheeda Rehman.

‘Antony and Cleopatra’
Watch this National Theatre Live screening of Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra (pictured above) in which the lovers are played by Ralph Fiennes and Sophie Okonedo. The English drama is directed by Simon Godwin.

‘Ghalib in New Delhi’
In this long-running Hindi comedy written, directed and starring M Sayeed Alam, nineteenth century poet Mirza Ghalib is reborn in the twenty-first century. Naturally he finds that the world is much weirder than it was two centuries ago.
When: Saturday, January 26 at 4pm at Canvas Laugh Club in Gurgaon and Sunday, January 27 at 4pm at Canvas Laugh Club in Noida.

Amul Sagar Nath directs this Hindi version of Vijay Tendulkar’s original Marathi drama. In the play, a Brahmin politician, who is vocally against caste, is delighted when his daughter announces she wants to marry a Dalit just after two months of knowing him. The marriage, however, is troubled right from the start.
