Zee Jaipur Literature Festival is back this year! With over 300 speakers, including notable celebrities like Anurag Kashyap and Mira Nair and authors like Helen Fielding and Amish, it is very easy to miss some sessions. For the first-timers, it is overwhelming to choose between so many sessions. Well, we have tried to make it simple for you. We have a guidebook for everyone who wishes to attend the festival, right here! Our list of nine speakers includes those you should not miss. 1. Amish

Amish is one of the authors responsible for portraying Indian mythology in a new light. His success with the Shiva Trilogy and Ram Chandra series has earned him the title of 'India's first literary pop star'. He has a unique way of mixing religious symbolism with a great story. Amish is also the recipient of several awards including Icon of the Year Award 2017Raymond Crossword Book AwardDainik Bhaskar Literature Award and The Pride of India Award (Literature).

2. Anthony Horowitz

This UK writer has penned many amazing mystery novels like the Alex Rider series, which was for young adults. He has also written adult books like Magpie Murders and Word is Murder, which were New York Times bestsellers. You might have also seen his writing in the TV series, Foyle's War.

3. Helen Fielding

She is the woman behind one of the most popular characters on screen – Bridget Jones. The movie and book series has been a major success and was one of the first in the line of books meant for teenage girls.

4. Ashwin Sanghi

He is considered among the highest-selling authors of English fiction. He has written books like Private India (co-written with James Patterson), which was a New York Times bestseller. Sanghi was also included by Forbes India in their Celebrity 100 and is a winner of the Crossword Popular Choice Award.

5. Soha Ali Khan

She is the newest author on the block and her autobiography is described as witty and interesting. The Perils of Being Moderately Famous hit the stands in 2017 and it seems that she has found her space in writing.

6. Tom Stoppard

His first full-length play, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, was staged by the National Theatre in 1967. One of the founders of the Zee Jaipur Literature Festival, he is a notable historian who is known for his books like In XanaduCity of DjinnsFrom the Holy Mountain, and White Mughals, among others.

8. Philip Norman

He is an internationally renowned chronicler of pop music and culture. Shout! – his definitive biography of the Beatles – first published in 1981 and has remained continuously in print, selling more than one million copies.

9. Shashi Tharoor

This award-winning author has written 16 books of fiction and nonfiction, including The Great Indian NovelPax Indica: India and the World of the 21st Century, and the latest, An Era of Darkness: The British Empire in India. He has won numerous literary awards, including a Commonwealth Writers’ Prize.
