Wondering how to occupy the little ones this summer? Here’s a quick list of kids’ events in Mumbai worth checking out.

‘Catch That Crocodile’

Directed by Shaili Sathyu, this children’s play in English (pictured above) is based on a story by Anushka Ravishankar written for kids between the ages of five and ten. A crocodile appears in the middle of a town and manages to outsmart those trying to catch him, till he meets Meena.
When: Saturday, April 20 at 5.30pm and 7pm.
Where: St. Andrew’s Centre for Philosophy and Performing Art, St Dominic Road, Bandra (West).

Urbania Summer Fest

Ongoing until the first week of May, the summer fest for children at Rustomjee Urbania will comprise a host of activities to occupy kids on their summer breaks, from basketball and table tennis to theatre and science workshops.
When: Saturday, April 20 onwards.
Where: Leon’s World Centre, Rustomjee Cambridge International School, Rustomjee Urbania, Thane.

NCPA Summer Fiesta

Start your kids off with the arts in these specially designed workshops organised as part of NCPA’s Summer Fiesta, an annual series of events for children. The line-up includes workshops on dance, talks, puppetry, photography and creative writing and lots more.

Where: National Centre for Performing Arts, Nariman Point.

‘Jungle Book 2: The Beast Attack’

Staged in English and Hindi by the theatre group Rangbaaz, Jungle Book 2 is the classic tale of Mowgli and his adventures growing up with his pals, Bhaloo the bear and Bagheera the panther.
When: Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21 at noon and 4pm.
