November's here – which means it's time to get ready for Christmas. And to help you celebrate the festival of joy early this year, comes A Bad Moms Christmas.
Written By: Jon Lucas, Scott Moore
Release Date: 10 November 2017
A sequel to Bad Moms, one of the most popular comedies of last year, A Bad Moms Christmas will be adding more mothers into the mix, in addition to the moms from the first film.
In the first film, the three moms Amy (Mila Kunis), Carla (Kathryn Hahn), and Kik (Kristen Bell) accept that their parenting isn't the best in the world and let loose to have some fun with some outrageous adventures.
This year, they prepare to celebrate the holiday spirit – along with all the work that comes with it – when they find out that their mothers will also be joining their families this Christmas. The two generations of mothers are sure to double the crazy times in Bad Moms Christmas.
The mothers of the mothers will be played by Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines, and Susan Sarandon. Amy's criticizing mother, Ruth, played by Christine Baranski, is known for her role as Diane Lockhart on The Good Wife and Leonard's mother on The Big Bang Theory. Susan Sarandon, who plays Carla's wacky mother, Isis, is another respected actress who's been in classics like Thelma and Louise and also appears on the show, Ray Donovan. Lastly, Kiki's mother, Sandy, is played by Cheryl Hines who's most well known for her role on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Among the guys, there are also some newcomers to the cast. Justin Hartley, who recently shot to fame with his role on the Emmy-award-winning drama, This is Us, will also be starring in this film. Peter Gallagher, who's been on The Good Wife with Christine Baranski, will also be in this film as her partner.
With the director-writer duo of the first film Jon Lucas and Scott Moore returning for the sequel, A Bad Moms Christmas is sure to hit all the same notes as the first while taking it up to a new level. Bad Moms was an unexpected hit and the second one seems to be geared up to be an equally fun time.
