Director Andy Muschietti has a short filmography but has written and directed a horror movie before. Mama (2013) starred Jessica Chastain and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, famous for his role of Jamie Lannister in Game of Thrones. The film also released in India and was a commercial success worldwide.
IT is releasing in India alongside its release in the US and many other parts of the world. While reviews have not come in yet, the movie already has an 8.6 star rating on IMDb.
