Everything you Need to Know About Beauty and the Beast

Fairy tales have been associated with Disney for as long as one can remember. Not a lot of people know that these fairy tales were actually grim and gruesome ones, originally written by the Brothers Grimm. Disney is also guilty of setting our standards high with their perfect princes and princesses and the kiss from you true love, which makes everything perfect. Before 2010, Disney's medium of choice was animation. In 2010, came Alice in Wonderland, which not only changed the story a bit but also made it more magical. Maleficent taught us that true love's kiss doesn't have to be between two lovers. As Disney is constantly revamping itself, it will be a treat to see how they present a tale as old as time.

Beauty - BookMyShowStarring everyone's favorite geek Emma Watson as Belle, the trailers prove that nothing much has changed as far as the plot is concerned. It is still set in the 18th-19th century France. We see a glimpse of Luke Evan's Gaston as he shamelessly admires himself. The Beast (Dan Stevens) is as ferocious as you would imagine and Emma Watson shines as Belle, a book lover (we have seen her do this before) and a compassionate person.

They are still sticking to the musical format with the Academy award-winning soundtrack. Apart from the original score, three new songs have been added to the live-action version. They are written by Menken and Tim Rice. The new cover of the title track is sung by Ariana Grande and John LegendCeline Dion, who sang the original version of the title track, will be singing one of the new songs How does a moment last forever?` Emma Watson lends her voice to the song Belle.

The production is massive with a castle that as grand as seen in the animated version. It would also have been difficult to recreate Belle's room of books but they have done a wonderful job. With voice actors like Sir Ian McKellen (Cogsworth), Stanley Tucci (Cadenza) and Ewan McGregor (Lumière), this is surely going to be an entertaining and magical one.
