First of all, let me tell everyone who is going for a Fast and Furious movie for the first time- it’s not a sequel. It’s all about hot girls and cool cars. People, who have watched the previous F&Fs, especially the first one, will find it familiar because the original characters are back.
Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) is after Pheonix, who killed his girl friend Letty (Michelle Rodriguez). Dom’s sister (Jordana Brewster), who was Brian O’Conner’s (Paul Walker) girlfriend finds him again after 5 years. Brian is an undercover cop, and looking for a criminal, Braga. To reach Braga and know about his operations, he must be a racer. And to prove his ground, he’s back on the streets with Dom, where it all started years ago. Now, Brian and Dom will do everything behind the wheels to hunt their enemies down.
The film has excellent cinematography capturing all those drifts and car chases. The street racing is upgraded with talking GPS and smarter camera movements (Note that Brian ignores GPS because he knows all the short cuts in the city). The street racing scenes are mind blowing and goes all across Los Angeles into The Mexican desert.
Vin Diesel fans should simply not miss this movie. Some might call this a brainless movie due to lack of story, but it still makes sense and is fun watching. People who follow street racing or have played Need for Speed or other racing games will be more at home with words like drift, pink slips, NOS and 10-second cars. F&F4 works for those who love fast-paced action flicks. Catch it this weekend, you won’t be disappointed.
