Golden Globes 2016: Fashion Hits and Misses

Even a true cinephile has to admit that the best part of an awards show is the fashion. Even if you have only taken enough effort to put on jeans and a sweatshirt this morning, we’re sure the 73rd Golden Globe Awards‘ red carpet brought out your inner Fashion Police… Just like ours!

And who can blame us? After all, the Golden Globes are the most fun and fashionable part of awards season. And if you want to enjoy the fashion without having to sit through the whole ceremony, look no further. Here are the best and, of course, the worst looks from the evening:

THE HITS

Jennifer Lawrence

The last few award seasons have been less than exciting for JLaw, but 2016 is off to a great start!

Olivia Wilde

On anyone else, this dress might have been subpar, but Olivia Wilde could make a gunny bag look like haute couture.

Jennifer Lopez

Though most people play it safe on the red carpet, Jenny from the Block has dared to be different once again. And it certainly paid off!

Kate Winslet

If there’s one thing we can count on every awards season, it’s Kate looking classy and gorgeous.

Eva Green

The actress outshone most starlets on the red carpet, both literally and figuratively.

THE MISSES

Jane Fonda

Jane, you are far too iconic to look like a glass of frothy milk.

Cate Blanchett

We expected better than this table cloth monstrosity from you, Cate.

Heidi Klum

She may have won us over with her Halloween costumes, but her red carpet attire leaves a lot to be desired.

Emilia Clarke

This look is proof that you can go wrong with a simple black dress.

Rachel McAdams

Inspired by Kim Kardashian’s iconic Met Gala look, maybe?
