Happy Birthday, Ranbir Kapoor

His debut film may not have fared as well as it was expected to, but within the first few years of his career, Ranbir Kapoor became a superstar. The Kapoor lad not only won multiple awards for his performances in Rockstar and Barfi but also gave box-office blockbusters like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The past two years may have been rough for Ranbir with Besharam, Bombay Velvet, and Roy tanking, but the actor looks all set to bounce back with Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film’s trailer has already crossed over eight million views and the feedback has been positive. Ranbir is a musician in this Diwali release and here are some other characters we would love to see him play.

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir’s passion for the sport is known to all. He owns a stake in the Indian Super League team – Mumbai City FC. Besides that, Kapoor regularly plays football with Dino Morea, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shoojit Sircar. In fact, rumor has it that Sircar’s next film will be based on the sport and Ranbir Kapoor would be the protagonist.

Ranbir Kapoor

Audi R8, Mercedes-Benz G63, Range Rover Sport, Audi A8 – these are just some of the luxury cars that the actor owns. Ranbir is extremely possessive of his mean machines and all of them are customized according to his tastes. We would love to see him race in one of these beasts on the big screen too.

Ranbir Kapoor

In many of his films, Ranbir has played the quintessential Bollywood hero. He’s the boy-next-door who sweeps the girl off her feet, he’s the guy who can break into an impromptu dance, and he can also make people laugh with his comic timing. Now, it would be great to see Kapoor play a baddie in a film and we're sure he would do a convincing job? So, Dhoom 4, maybe?

Ranbir Kapoor

Be it Wake Up Sid or Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ranbir's reel-life characters have mostly been far from being an ideal son. He misbehaved with his father in both movies only to realize his mistake later. In real life, though, it is said that Kapoor dotes on his parents – Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor. So, RK, please sign Sooraj Barjatya’s next film, now.
