Chuck Norris. Most of us know him as the man who can do anything. We wish the martial artist, actor, film producer and screenwriter a very happy 77th birthday! Yup, 77, feel old yet? Not just that, 77 and strong as ever. Born as Carlos Ray Norris, the hero served as a World War II Army soldier. He has served in the US Air Force and has various ranks and medals to his name. He was also a mechanic, a bus driver and a truck driver. All this, before rising to fame as a martial artist and founding his own school, Chun Kuk Do. He then began to appear in a number of action films, also starring alongside the legend Bruce Lee. Some of his best films include Missing in Action (1984), Lone Wolf McQuade (1983), The Expendables 2 (2012) and The Hitman (1991).
While most of the action films are 'over the top' he has often been dubbed as the Rajnikanth of Hollywood. Or Rajnikanth is the Chuck Norris of India. Either way. Since 2005, he has been widely associated with memes that document fictional and often absurd feats associated with him. That's what they say. It's totally believable for us, though, considering it is Chuck freaking Norris. Chuck himself appreciates them. He responded to the parody on his website, stating that he does not feel offended by them and finds some of them funny, claiming that his personal favorite is that they wanted to add his face to Mount Rushmore, but the granite is not hard enough for his beard. HA! Check out some rad memes below.
