We have come to the end of yet another glorious month at the movies. As promised, we're back to take you through all the films that hit theatres in the month of March.

As always, there were many releases and as a cine-goer it would have been really hard for you to catch up with all. Well, you need not worry. We're here to help you find out how each fared. From the ones that were must-watches to the ones that could just be spared that one watch, we have it all covered. Without wasting any time, let us take a quick look at what people loved in March!

HITS
Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and the Beast is the adaptation of the 1991 film of the same name. The film has thrilling sequences, an amazing use of CGI, great music and terrific actors. It not only took the adults back to their childhood, but it also managed to enthrall the newbies, acquainting them with the world of Belle and the Beast, with ease.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania
This sequel to the 2014 film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, ticks all the customary boxes of a paisa wasool Bollywood entertainer. It has everything that made it work for the audience – drama, dance and a great jodi.

Naam Shabana
Naam Shabana unfolds the backstory of Shabana from the much loved action spy thriller, Baby. This raw and powerful Shivam Nair film, kept the audience at the edge of their seats.

Logan
Logan was appreciated for its realistic portrayal of the superhero, its action sequences and some great performances. The perfect farewell to the clawed mutant, truly!

Phillauri
Anushka Sharma's film takes the heart-wrenching past with the contrastingly prosperous present. It is the seamless transition between the two that made this work for the audience.

Anaarkali of Aarah
An amazing script, brilliant actors and a powerful message is what made this magnificent film strike a chord with the audience.

The Boss Baby
The Boss Baby which is about a suit-wearing briefcase-carrying baby was definitely an entertainer.

The Salesman
This Iranian drama was this year's Oscar winner for Best Foreign Language Film. It seemed to have delivered on all the expectations one has come to attach with Asghar Farhadi's work.

Kong: Skull Island
Kong: Skull Island, turned out to be rather impressive with its stunning special effects.

Trapped
The Rajkummar Rao-starrer may not been the big film one looks forward to, but it managed to be a crowd-pleaser, with its excellent execution.

In regional cinema:
We also had some regional ventures that did wonders. Here are a few: Garbh (Marathi), Kanika (Marathi), Jindua (Punjabi), Rabb Da Radio (Punjabi), Dushman (Punjabi), C/O Saira Banu (Malayalam), The Great Father (Malayalam), Angamaly Diaries (Malayalam), 16 – Every Detail Counts (Telugu), Mandobasar Golpo (Bengali), Kavan (Tamil), Manasu Malligey (Kannada) and Raajakumara (Kannada).

MISSES
Some films missed by a tiny margin. They did not do as well as the others. Here are some: Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hain (Hindi), Machine (Hindi), Aa Gaya Hero (Hindi), Journey Premachi (Marathi), Talav (Marathi), Bruce Lee (Tamil), Dora (Tamil), Engitta Modhathey (Tamil), Honey Bee 2 (Malayalam), Samarppanam (Malayalam) and Meher Aali (Bengali).

Well, that was all for March. Let's hope April is even better. See you then!
