The month of October has just ended and apart from the fact that it marks the end of the glorious festival of Diwali, October has also given us some amazing films. October saw the release of several hyped films like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and Mirzya and in case you were unable to catch them all, worry not. Like every month, we bring to you our list of hits and misses, which ranges from films you absolutely cannot afford to miss to films that do not deserve your time.

The third film in the MSG series was another blockbuster hit that people just could not get enough off.
Queen of Katwe
The humble story of Phiona Mutesi, a chess prodigy from Uganda was another surprising hit. The film impressed the audiences with the inspiring story of a simple girl from Uganda.
The Korean movie that released in India, Train to Busan, with its entertaining yet thrilling take on a zombie apocalypse, was a definite crowd-puller.

We also had several regional films that did wonders at the box-office like Premam (Telugu), Pulimurugan (Malayalam), Rama Rama Re(Kannada), Remo (Tamil), Nunnunarve (Tamil) and Family Katta (Marathi).
